I'm Senior Researcher at the Centre for Intelligence Studies, Norwegian Intelligence School (NORIS).  

I have broad academic experience as university teacher, analyst and researcher from positions at the University of Oslo, the Norwegian Defence Establishment and the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies.

My publications include books and articles on topics such as intelligence, civil-military relations and Turkish foreign policy.

I'm currently working on an edited book about intelligence and digital transformation  that will be published in 2025.
